When it's discovered that Marge may be pregnant again, Homer tells the kids the story of their struggle in starting their life together.

With his new birthday gift, a radio microphone, Bart plays a big practical joke that backfires on him.

Lisa's football predicting skills bring her and Homer together and send Moe broke.

Marge takes a vacation leaving Bart and Lisa with Patty and Selma, and Maggie with Homer.

When Bart discovers his teacher Mrs Krabappel, has placed an ad in the personals, he starts sending her love letters as a practical joke.

The Plant softball team has a winning season thanks to Homers lucky wonder bat, but when Mr. Burns makes a million dollar bet on his team, he brings in some major league ringers to assure victory.

Bart's career aptitude test suggests he should become a policeman, so he goes on a ride-along with Eddie and Lou, and decides that being a cop is cool. Meanwhile, Lisa rebels after learning that Homer's hereditary stumpy fingers mean she will never be a successful saxophone player.

When Santa's Little Helper suffers from a twisted stomach, the Simpsons family have to make some sacrifices in order to pay for the life saving operation.

Homer becomes the manager of a cocktail waitress who has a great country and western singing voice.

To Bart's horror, Selma announces that her husband-to-be is none other than Sideshow Bob.

Bart attends a Spinal Tap concert before Otto loses his job driving the school bus and moves in with the Simpsons.

Bart becomes jealous when Milhouse falls for a girl who transferred to their school.

Homer's brother, Herb Powell, asks Homer for a $2000 loan to let him develop a new invention - a translator of baby gibberish.
